Camille Forte ’23

Student Manager

Pronouns: she/her/hers

Camille Forte is a third-year from Chicago, IL (from the city she adds). She is majoring in History and International Relations. This is her first year working with the Gould Center, and she loves working with the Gould Fellows. She is drawn to the humanities because she wants to understand the experiences of different places and people. As a first-generation, low-income student, she enjoys learning and examining how the condition of people and places have (or have not) changed over time. This year, Camille has been especially enthusiastic about continuing her Arabic studies and starting Spanish at CMC. She is very grateful for her other involvements on campus which include working at the Soll Center for Student Opportunity, being one Student Director of Diversity Initiatives at the Admissions Office, being a tour guide, and participating on Athena's Cross Country and Track and Field teams throughout the year. In Camille’s free time, she likes to eat with her friends, go shopping, and go to the beach.
