Faculty Feedback Forum

The Faculty Feedback Forum program provides a humanities faculty member with an opportunity to receive feedback on a book manuscript or other substantial project in progress (e.g., a series of two to three connected papers). Project awards will typically be between $2,000-$5,000. These funds are provided to the faculty member to bring outside scholars to the CMC campus to participate in an open forum focusing on the faculty member’s work. This open forum might be paired with other events for the remainder of the day – for example, a closed and more focused discussion (or discussions) between the outside scholars and the faculty member, a departmental colloquium, a talk or workshop aimed at students, etc.

At this time, we invite proposals for academic year 2023-24. We are open to the possibility of the forum being held virtually, although in that case we would expect the budget to be scaled appropriately (no more than $1000). We will accept proposals at any time during the year on a rolling basis. Interested faculty should email Jessika Cisneros at jessika.cisneros@claremontmckenna.edu.
