 Erin McKenna ’87

Professor of Philosophy, University of Oregon

Erin McKenna graduated from CMC in 1987 with a double major in philosophy and PPE. After earning her PhD in Philosophy from Purdue University in 1992 she taught at Pacific Lutheran University for many years before moving to the University of Oregon in 2015. Her current work  focuses on pragmatism, animal ethics, and feminist theory.

I am excited to join the Gould center to support the Humanities at CMC and help CMCers who gravitate toward the Humanities to feel at home and valued.
