Jim graduated with a B.A. from CMC in 1984 where he had a double major in Philosophy and Political Science.  Jim received his J.D. from USC Law School in 1990 where he graduated Order of the Coif.  Jim was a commercial trial lawyer for 32 years, and was a partner in the law firm of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton until January 1, 2023.
